Review Task and Alerts

When you log on you'll see the Alerts Tab and be prompted to review task. Take a moment to review each alert. 

Inactive Leads

Filling beds is difficult without good lead flow and leads go cold quickly. The following prospective tenant(s) have not logged into the system within the past 48 hours and could use some attention:

Unpaid Security Deposits

Deposits protect you from costly repair bills on move-out day. Review the following tenants and follow up on any unpaid deposit charges.

Undeposited Payments

Your property's bank reconciliations rely on accurate payment information. Room Choice will handle all payments made by tenants inside of Room Choice but you'll need to create settlement deposits for payments added manually. To resolve these items Create Settlements. 

Approved Tenants without Assignments

Tenants may have an approved agreement period but are not placed for one or more of the periods within that agreement period. Please add them to a bed or inactivate them.

Leasing Periods

The earlier you start leasing the earlier you fill beds! This section will show you which leasing periods are available and if online leasing is available. Contact your account manager with pricing to set up a new period or turn off an old period.

Inactive Tenants with a Balance

Normally a tenant should not have a balance after they've been inactivated in the system. Complete the suggested move out accounting to close these alerts. 

Bank Deposit Missing Dates

Knowing when a deposit occurred helps track funds and ensures nothing gets lost on the way to the bank. Please add the bank deposit date to any settlement batches that are listed in this section. 

Unreconciled Bank Deposits

Reconciling settlements gives you confidence that all received payments have been correctly recorded in Room Choice. Please add a reconciliation date to any settlements listed in this section.
