Contract Transfers

How do I transfer a contract from one tenant to another? 

Contract transfers are available for reservations that have both started and the tenant is selling all of their remaining contract on a specific agreed date (i.e. Tenant A will be moving out and not returning and is selling all of their remaining lease to Tenant B as of July 1st). 

How It Works:

• The new tenant will receive an invitation to log in, select optional services and sign a contract.
• The new tenant's contract will begin as of the date specified below.
• Any monthly charges will be prorated; any installment charges will need to be pro-rated manually.

To start a transfer:

1. Open the Tenant page
2. Select Reservations
3. Select an active reservation that is fully approved and is not in the future.
   1. Under Actions, you will see a transfer icon when transfers are available
   2. Select the Transfer Icon
   3. Fill in the new tenants First Name, Last Name, Gender, Email, and Contract Start Date. 
   4. Select Transfer

Please note: This workflow works for Sublets, Transfers, and Tenants Selling their contracts where all of their remaining lease agreement will be transferred.
