How do I Authorize a Payment?

How do I authorize a tenant payment? 

The manager can help tenants add a payment method and authorize a new payment from the customer's associated accounts. This workflow will charge the tenant's credit card or bank account. If you are looking to record a check or cash payment received in your office please see "Adding Payments and Charges to Student Accounts". 

To add a new payment method:

  1. Go to the tenant profile
  2. Select Payments
  3. Select Add New Credit Card
  4. Follow the instructions on the Add a Card form
  5. Add Card

To authorize a payment and charge the tenants bank or card:

  1. Go to the tenant profile
  2. Select Payments
  3. Select Make Payment
  4. Follow the instructions on the Make Payment Form
  5. Make Payment
